Treetop House, designed by Sydney-based designers Arent & Pyke is a harmonious, colourful, light-filled delight. Two penthouse apartments were developed into one grand penthouse early in the piece and the owners picked the perfect design experts in Arent & Pyke to make their home a reality. The owners were clear in their vision for a refined and luxurious space and having worked with Arent & Pyke before, they collaborated confidently to create a beautifully bespoke home.

Taking full advantage of the large space available in the kitchen and living room, an imposing stone kitchen island sits confidently in the middle of the space. Geometric brass finishes and the deep grey stone monolith provide incredible depth to the kitchen and match back perfectly with the bespoke brass handles and grey cabinetry along the kitchen wall.

A sitting area just off the kitchen overlooks the treetops and the pink lounge is the perfect nod to the pale pink hue of the dining room curtains. The clients specifically requested an absence of clutter and shelving in the dining and living spaces, resulting in carefully chosen furnishings, art work and incredible pendant lights that shine in their own right.

The soft pink is complemented by deep caramel and rich chocolate tones and contrasted by the soft blue in the living room and subtle accessories placed throughout. The colour palette was born from the owners aesthetic but developed further due to the abundance of natural light streaming into the apartment. Materials in stone, timber and felt were combined with the clever use of colour to create a soft, tonal harmony from the living spaces all the way to the bedrooms.

The end result of the hard work and confident creativity that has gone into the design of Treetop House is a truely beautiful, bespoke home. A home that can be admired, adored and lived in comfortably all at once.
